Winter Trekking Holidays in Nepal

Trekking in Nepal generally known to best as two seasons after the winter and before the winter. During the Autumn and Spring season, the weather is clear enough to view the mountains and beautiful scenes. Nepal is the trekker's paradise so if you have limited time to travel, you can also visit Nepal during winter time.

Generally, the days are clear in winter season in Nepal. December, January and February months falls during this time. In high altitude, weather is cool and even heavy snowfall with risk winds and colder night. So, if you are planning for trekking holidays during winter, lower elevations below 3500m would be best.

Winter is a great time to trek one or two week lower and mid altitude trails, where the temperature is pleasant. During this period, there are less number of trekkers on the trail.  Special interest trek is best during the spring season i.e. starts late February. The colorful forest of Rhododendron which is the national flower of Nepal also blooms at this time of the year. The nature will mesmerize you with the orchids, also different species of birds on the route while you trek during this season.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, transfer to Hotel (Hotel Lily or Hotel Gallery Nepal). Check in hotel, refresh and ready for kathmandu valley sightseeing tour including Swayambhunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Boudhanath Stupa.

Day 02: Early morning, drive to airport for mountain flight. Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu. Transfer to the Hotel. Rest and visit local market around Thamel.

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing. After Breakfast we will take you most popular and historical place of Nepal. you will be explore Swyambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Buddhanath, and Pashupatinath.

Day 3: Morning after Breakfast fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara. It will be 45 min Fly to Pokhara your flight will be in the morning 8.30 or 9.30am. and from the airport of pokhara 1 hours drive by private car to the Nayapul. From where your trekking will be start. On this day you will be trek like 4 hrs. and sleep at the village we call it Ulleri. Lunch will be on the way and dinner will be at Ulleri in the place where we have booked tea house for you.

Day 4: After Breakfast we will continue our trek to Ghorepani. Trek duration will be 5 to 6 hrs Slowly and enjoying the view.

Day 5: We wake up early morning and trek 1 hrs to the Poon Hill. This Poon Hill is the main Spot from here you will see The clear view of Mountain Annapurna, Mountain Fish Tail and many more. After spending 2 hrs at the Poon Hill taking photo and relaxing. we will continue our trek to Tadapani. Your Lunch will be provided on the way and you will sleep at tadapani. Trek Duration will be 5hrs.

Day 6: After Breakfast continue trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk. 4 to 5 hrs.

Day 7: Drive from Ghandruk to Pokhara. Check in to the Hotel and Rest 1 hr and continue sightseeing in Pokhara. Visit World Peace Pagoda, David Fall and Mahendra Cave.

Day 8: Drive Pokhara to Sauraha. Rest in Hotel

Day 9: Jungle safari activities ( Elephant riding, Boating, Tharu culture Dance Show, Jungle walk, Visit elephant breeding center).

Day 10: Fly from Chitwan to Kathmandu. Half and hr flight. Pick up from the airport and rest in hotel. Free time Massage and visit Local market.
