Among the four seasons in Nepal, Autumn is the best time of year for traveling to Himalayas. Offering the moderate weather and climate, Autumn season is the busiest season for trekking in Nepal. After the monsoon season in September, the sky is clear allowing the spectacular views of mountain peaks. During the season, most of the popular trekking routes are crowded by the tourists, airlines, hotels are also busy with the earlier booking. September, October and November falls in this season. During the day, weather is warm wheres during night it becomes cool. The weather varies as per the altitude goes up. Indra Jatra, Teej, Dashain, Tihar, Chhath Puja are the popular festivals during September, October and November.
